1. HOW MUCH FILLING DO I NEED?Has your old bean bag got a bit too soft? You will need 5 cubic foot to top it up Picked up a standard sized bean bag cover? You will need 10 cubic foot Got an extra large bean bag cover? 15 cubic foot should do the trick Just bought a sofa bean bag cover? Then you are going to need 20 cubic foot (an extra large one will need 25 cubic foot) Calculator Find the dimensions of the area you are trying to fill (in inches). Multiply the Width by Depth by Height and divide by 1728. This will give you the amount of cubic foot you require. for example A cube that is 26 inches x 26 inches x 26 inches would require 10 cubic foot Litres If you have been given the required amount in litres and not cubic foot then don't worry, this is how it equates 5 cubic foot - 125 litres 10 cubic foot - 250 litres 20 cubic foot - 500 litres 2. WHAT IS A STOCKING NET?Imagine a pair of stockings, take away a leg and then fill with polystyrene beans. It will hold all the beans within its' lining and makes it easier when it comes to washing your bean bag. In our opinion, by holding all the beans within a lining it does not allow them to freely circulate your bean bag and thus will make it less comfortable. Ambient Lounge bean bags are not designed to take beans in a stocking net - more traditional blob bean bags (due to their circular shape) will be fine with them. 3. WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY POLICY?Delivery anywhere in Zone 1 UK mainland: £10.00 including VAT. Zone 1 includes; England, Wales and parts of Scotland, excluding Highlands and Islands.Delivery anywhere in Zone 2: £20.00 including VAT. Zone 2 includes; Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE. Delivery anywhere in Zone 3: £20.00 including VAT. Zone 3 includes; Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly - postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25. We are sorry but delivery outside of Zones 1-3 in the UK is not possible at present. In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged, PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY and our courier will return the goods to us and we will dispatch a replacement. If the goods are accepted damaged, no replacement or refund will be issued. Also ensure that someone is available at the given delivery address to sign for the goods. We despatch all weekly orders every Wednesday on a 48hr Parcelforce delivery service. Orders received after 5pm on a Tuesday will be despatched the following week All UK deliveries are shipped generously filled with polystyrene beans and securely packed. Understanding that most people work 9 til 5 and that Saturday deliveries are very expensive, we are more than happy to deliver to your place of work. Ambient Lounge Ltd. aren't a courier company - unfortunately to retain flexibility of their schedules, courier companies cannot specify delivery times. If for some reason when your order arrives you are not in, then our courier company should phone you and will leave a card and re-attempt delivery the next day (in the meantime, your order will be taken to their local depot) If for any reason there is a problem for your delivery then we will give you your unique tracking number so that you can contact you local depot directly. 4. WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS?A. General In these conditions of sale: The "company" means ALOB Limited; the "purchaser" means the person ordering or buying goods from the company. No contract between the purchaser and the company shall exist until the purchaser's order has been accepted by the company. The order shall be deemed to be accepted once the company has authorised the purchaser's payment. It is the intention of the company that all terms of a contract between the purchaser and the company are contained in this document and in the descriptions of goods provided on the ALOB website (www.bean-bag.co.uk) for items. If the purchaser wishes to rely on any variation to these terms he/she is asked to ensure that such variations are confirmed in writing to the company before he/she places an order. To protect your own interests please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing your order. B. Despatch and Payment Unless otherwise specified the price quoted is the actual item cost. A delivery charge is added to the item separately with the cost displayed within the item description and added at checkout. This website is only currently able to deliver to the UK , Isle on Man and the Channel Islands . We can not deliver to the Republic of Ireland or BFPO addresses. Please note that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Delivery times are quoted on the basis that the product is in stock. All orders placed with Ambient Lounge Ltd will be dispatched every Wednesday using a 48hr DHL delivery service. Orders placed via the company website can be paid with either a credit or debit card or with a personal cheque. Credit or Debit card payments are handled via Protx and HSBC. Payments are handled by their secure servers and you will be directed to Protx's website at the payment stage of checkout. If however, you prefer to pay by personal cheque then please send us an email and we will email an invoice which can be printed off and returned to us with your cheque. Please allow 14 days for delivery of goods if paying with a personal cheque. The company uses carriers and postal services to deliver goods and the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the purchaser through any delay in delivery caused by such companies. C. Retention of Title The Company and the purchaser agree that title shall transfer to the purchaser only when the goods have been paid for in full. The company shall be entitled to require the purchaser to deliver up the goods until such time that all due payments have been made in full. The purchaser shall store the goods free of charge and in a manner to ensure the goods are safe from theft and damage. D. Risk As soon as the company has delivered the goods, the purchaser is responsible for them, until such time as the goods are delivered back to the company or the company's agent, in the event of cancellation or refund. E. Cancellation Under the terms of the distance selling regulations 2000, the purchaser has a cooling off period of 7 days. The cooling off period commences the day after the delivery of the goods to the purchaser or the collection of the goods by the purchaser and the period ends 7 working days later. In such circumstances, the purchaser must inform the company in writing before the end of the 7th working day following delivery. The purchaser is responsible for the safe storage of the goods whilst in his care and the cost of returning the goods to the company. In the circumstance of a non-faulty product, the product must be returned without damages, any use or tampering with the original packaging otherwise they will not be accepted and a refund not permitted. F. Circumstances beyond our Control The company reserves the right to cancel, vary or suspend the operation of contracts of sales if events occur which are beyond our control including (and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) fire, floods, storm, plant breakdown, lock-outs, riots, industrial action which prevents entry to premises, hostilities, non-availability of materials or supplies or any event outside the control of the company and the company shall not be held liable for any breach of contract resulting from such an event. G. Law These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with UK law. 5. WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?7 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE All orders place with Ambient Lounge Ltd are covered by a 7 day money back guarantee. If within 7 days of receipt you are not satisfied with your order, you are entitled to an identical replacement (if in stock) or a refund of the cost of the goods (excluding all delivery costs) providing the goods have not been used. Goods purchased on our website can be returned for a full refund under our refund policy provided that you have first notified us by e-mail at refund@ambientlounge.co.uk within 7 days of the purchase and the goods are then returned in a condition deemed suitable by us for resale. Please note that we cannot refund any cost for postage that you may have paid, unless we have sent you an item incorrectly or the item is deemed to be faulty. Please note, we individually check all returns and if we consider the fault to be as a result of self-damage, then a refind will not be given. Where the purchaser is returning goods then the refund shall comprise the original purchase price (not including delivery costs) less a re-stocking fee of 10% of the purchase price. In addition to this refund policy, under the UK's distance selling regulations, you have the right to cancel the purchase contract within 7 days of placing your order (beginning the day after receipt of the goods), minus any delivery costs incurred. For your own protection when returning any goods, we suggest that you use recorded delivery, requiring our signature upon receipt of the goods, as we will not issue refunds for any goods that fail to reach us.
